2009 Great Backyard Bird Count
Yesterday we used our outdoor time to clean up the bird feeders, repair any problems in anticipation of this years Great Backyard Bird Count. It's only TWO weeks away!

Outdoor Hour Challenge
I wanted to participate in the Outdoor Hour Challenges when Barb (Harmony Art Mom) first started posting them way back when. Too many real-life challenges were happening last fall and our time at home was so sporadic that I had to say 'no'.
One of the hardest parts of homeschooling today is having to choose between great and great. (So unlike voting in a presidential election!) There are so many awesome Charlotte Mason resources out there now it pained me to have to say 'no' to something I knew would be great. But life circumstances have a way of changing and we now have enough consistent time at home to participate. Hooray!
This blog is going to be for posting our nature journals and any other comments the dc or I have from our time outdoors.
I can't wait to get started!
